Syosset Park to Feature Residences, Retail Shops, Restaurants, Entertainment, Hotel Options, Corporate Offices and a 30-acre Community Park

Oyster Bay Development, LLC, a partnership between Simon Property Group and Castagna Realty, have announced plans for Syosset park, a mixed-use walking village in Syosset.

Located on the former Cerro Wire property and the former Town of Oyster Bay Public Works site, the village will feature a dynamic mix of residential ownership options, retail shops, restaurants, entertainment, two hotels, corporate office space and a 30-acre park that will be designed by the surrounding community and will be open to the public.

The master plan for Syosset Park delivers on the promises made to the community when we began this project,” said Chuck Davis, Senior Vice President of Development for Simon.  “The development features an appropriately sized smart-growth walking village that meets the needs and objectives of the community to create a world-class live, work, and play environment and we look forward to the dialogue with all interested parties.”

World-renowned town planners, Duany Plater Zyberk & Company (DPZ) will help to design the many aspects of the village.  DPZ bring unmatched expertise to the design process.  Their vision includes a well-designed public realm, including “third places”, where people hang out beyond home and work, facilitating the creation of social networks and affiliations.
